Three delicious and easy camping recipes


In camp, you have to put up with snacks and dehydrated dinners. Nor should we cook like a chore. Using a few simple camping recipes you might as well eat your house. Part of the fun of camping is to try different ways and forms of cooking. Here are three tasty recipes to try.

CAMP stew.

Ingredients.

One and a half pounds of ground beef.

Two medium carrots.

A half> Ui.

Five medium potatoes.

A large tin of peas.

A package of onion soup mix.

Instructions.

Brown the meat in a large frying pan until golden brown. Chop the carrot, onion and potatoes, and add the meat. Bring all ingredients to blend soup with enough water to cover. Season with salt and pepper and cook with the lid until the potatoes are tender. Add the peas and cook another five to ten minutes toare hot.

HOBO DINNER Baked.

Ingredients.

Four medium potatoes.

An onion.

A pound of ground meat.

A quarter cup of water.

Instructions.

Peel and slice the potatoes and onion. Put the meat in a bowl and add water, mix well together and add the potatoes and onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Divide the dough into three or four portions and wrap in double thickness of aluminum foil.Place on a medium hot grill for about forty minutes with care movement. Carefully open and serve with bread rolls.

Chicken in foil.
Ingredients.

A small green pepper, chopped.

Half a small red bell pepper, chopped.

Ten mushrooms, chopped.

A teaspoon of butter or margarine

Four chicken breasts.

One can of sliced pineapple.

Four sixteen-inch square of aluminum foil.

Instructions.

Divide the peppers andmushrooms into four equal parts. Coat a small area in the center of each piece of aluminum foil with butter or margarine. Place a portion of the pepper and mushrooms in greased aluminum foil, place the chicken on top and a slice of pineapple on top of chicken. Season with salt and pepper and fold foil tightly so there are no leaks. Repeat with the remaining ingredients, so four individual servings. Place on hot grill or charcoal for aboutFifteen minutes, then the turnover is ten to fifteen minutes.

8 slices white bread
oil for frying
cream cheese topping: -
1 x 4 oz package cream cheese
2 tablespoons cream
Salt and pepper
green peas for garnish
salmon topping: -
1 ¾ x 3 oz. Smoked salmon can
Lemon and capers for garnish

Method: -
For the Crostini: - Cut the bread into small circles with a cutter about 1 ¾ inchesin diameter. You can cut 3 circles from a slice of bread. Heat the oil, ¼ inch deep in a heavy skillet bread-based frying and fry until golden circles on both sides. Drain well. For the cream cheese garnish: - Mix the cream cheese and cream until smooth. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
Salmon topping: - Drain salmon well.

Freeze: - Package croutons in a plastic container or a plastic bag, properly sealed, label and freeze. Package cream cheese mixture in a plastic container,so ½ inch headspace, seal, label and freeze.
Package of smoked salmon flat in a plastic bag, remove air, sea, label and freeze.

To serve: - Defrost toast, cream cheese and salmon in containers at room temperature. 12 Crostini Spread with cream cheese mixture and garnish with peas. Cut the salmon into 12 circles with a clean knife, place the remaining croutons and garnish with thin slices of lemon and capers. Serve food on a plate.

Chicken andVeal Curry Recipe
In the case of - 12
Cooking time - 1 hour

Ingredients: -
2 chickens
1 pound veal steak ½
¾ cup rice flour
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 green apple, peeled and chopped
1 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon curry powder
3 teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon dry mustard
additional 3 tablespoons rice flour
4 cups chicken broth (use bouillon cubes)
½ cup heavy cream

Method: -
Remove the chickenmeat from the bone and cut into 1 inch pieces. Cut veal into pieces 1 inch. Coat the chicken and veal in the flour of rice. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a large pan and fry half the chicken and veal until golden brown. Transfer chicken and brown veal on a large heavy pan and keep warm over very low heat. Heat the remaining oil in a pan, fry the meat until browned and add the remainder of the first half of a pot.

Saute apple and onion in remaining oil in a frying pan,until soft. Stir in curry powder, salt, ginger, mustard and 3 tablespoons of rice flour plus. Add broth and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Pour curry sauce over chicken and veal. Stir in cream. Boil gently over low heat for 30 minutes. Cool rapidly up the pot in cold water.

Freeze: - Put a big fat plastic or plastic bag in a large frying pan (as model). Pour curry cold in the bag, and left standing in the form of soup or close properlywith 2-inch space for expansion. Place pan in freezer until frozen curry (4 hours). If frozen, block of curry can be removed from the pan and kept in a freezer.

To serve - remove lock plastic bag and curry in the original pot. Defrost and heat for 3-4 hours in a hot oven (350-375 ° F, Gas No. 4) for 1 ½ to 2 hours or until heated through. Mix garlic during heating. Serve with boiled rice.

Notes: - E 'recommended to save the curry frozen for one month because of the large amount of onions and curry powder, which can extend out taste "on a long shelf life.

Sweet and Sour Pork Recipe

Cooking time - 45 minutes

Ingredients: -
3 pounds pork tenderloin
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 ½ tablespoons dry sherry
5 tablespoons flour
¼ of a liter of vegetable oil
Sauce: -
6 green peppers
2 red peppers
3 onions
8 ounces frozengreen beans
8 ounces frozen carrots
6 slices pineapple
¼ of a liter of vegetable oil
3 tablespoons dry sherry
3 tablespoons lemon juice
6 tablespoons of tomato sauce
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 cup sugar
1 ½ tablespoons rice flour
1 ½ cup water

Method: -
For the pork - pork cut into cubes of 1 cm and mix with soy sauce and dry sherry. Drain excess liquid from the pork and toss in flour. Fry in hot oil until golden brown (about 15minutes). Remove pork from pan and drain well.

For the sauce: - Remove the seeds from peppers and cut into thin strips of pineapple cubes. Chop the onion, beans and carrots cut into strips e. Fry in vegetable oil heated up in a large skillet lightly brown. Mix the sherry, lemon juice, tomato sauce, soy sauce and sugar. To add the vegetables, along with pieces of pineapple and bring to a boil. Blend rice flour with water until a smooth paste, add to the mixture in a saucepan and bringto a boil, stirring constantly. Cool rapidly.

Freeze: - Spread partially cooked pork dishes on the plate to cool. If the intense cold of the trays for 2 hours (free-flow method, article packaging and labeling to see). The package in a plastic bag, remove air, properly sealed, label and freeze. Pour the sauce into a container of cold plastic, which allows one inch head space. Seal tightly, label and freeze.

To serve: - 6-8 hours to thaw sauce and pork for 2 hours at room temperature. Heat oil in ¼ pinta large pan and fry pork until golden brown and hot. Drain well and place in a warm bowl. Bring sauce to a boil, but simmer and immediately pour over the pork hot. Serve with boiled rice.

The recipe for boiled rice
In the case of - 12

Ingredients: -
1 tablespoon salt
2 cups rice

Method: -
Add ½ tablespoon of salt to 8 cups of boiling water. Gradually add 1 cup of rice soon. Boil rapidly, uncovered about 12 minutes. Pour rice into astrainer. Repeat the entire process. Two batches of rice will give you about 6 cups of cooked rice. Once the rice is unloaded, spread to cool quickly.

Freeze - rice in cold pack method, do it yourself (see article for packaging and labeling of food) or in a plastic container. Seal tightly, label and freeze quickly.

To serve: - Break up frozen rice and release a large amount of boiling water. instant rice to boil drain through a colander and serve largehot.

Pineapple Gateau Recipe
Ingredients: -
2 large cake
1 pint cream
1 pound apricot jam
1 x £ 1 13 oz can pineapple slices
candied cherries
angelica

Method: -
Make or buy, August 3-inch cake.

Whip the cream in a bowl, cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Leaving aside the cream, let the water sink to the bottom of the container.

cake cut in half and fill with whipped creamcream and jam. Gently sift the remaining marmalade, heat and brush the tops of the sponge with warm apricot glaze. To thaw: - Simply thaw at room temperature for 3 or 4 hours. Do not break the container closed during the defrosting time. final cake with apricot puree hot again, if necessary, before serving.

Delicious Rice Cooker Pasta Recipe

Pasta is one of my favorite dishes. However, I like when the loving home cooked food, because it is served at the minute is ready. And the quality of ingredients is easier to control. Onions and garlic are essential. Peppers and mushrooms and vegetables are excellent for balancing the meal, both in terms of taste and nutrition.

This delicious pasta dish can be cooked using a rice cooker. It is suitable for people who do not have gas burners them. For example, I use it in my office, where we only have a microwave and rice cooker.

Instructions for cooking

Remove the meat from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before starting to cook. cold meat is more difficult to mix.

Add the pasta to the cooking rice. Some of rice cookers come with a strip of rubber on the bottom of the dough stick to stop the rice cooker. If you have one, use it, otherwise do not worry. Cover the dough with cold waterwater.

Chop the onion and garlic. I used 6 cloves of garlic, onions, and 1.5. Add to the cooking rice.

Cut the mushrooms into quarters and peppers into small 1 cm square. Do you want a fine sauce, chop the vegetables into small pieces. Add the cooked rice.

Bring the mixture to taste with salt and pepper. And add the oregano, basil and vegetable stock.

If using cheese, cut into 1 cm cubes and addto the mix.

Finally, add the mince.

Pour over a good amount of olive oil and stir the food.

Turn the rice cooker and boil.

Potential problems

There are a lot of ingredients in this recipe, cook the rice and small can not handle. When cooking the rice goes to "keep warm" way too early, and the food is, of course, not cooked, then take half of the mixture and continue cooking the rest. The mixture can be cooked removedlater, or save for another day.

Scottish Haggis Recipe

Beef Haggis

1.5 pounds boneless breast

£ 1.25 shoulder of lamb

1 / 4 c onions (dried) or 1 large, chopped

Water or broth, as required

1.25 pounds beef liver

3 cups of oatmeal or pinhead oatmeal

1 cup beef

2 tbsp. salt

1 Tbsp. black pepper

A pinch of cayenne pepper

Cow bladder, stomach, sheep or pudding basin

Chop the breast, lamb and onion. Put in a large pan, coverwith water / stock. Bring to a boil and simmer 30 minutes. Add chopped liver and leave another 30 minutes. Pout to remove the liquid and reserve. Chop cooked meat finely and mix in a bowl, one by one, cornmeal, lard, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Pour reserved liquid until firm and moist. Pour into the bladder and ends securely with string. Place in the top half of a steamer and steam over boiling water 1 1 / 2 hour. (If no bladder / stomach is made available ina baking dish, cover with wax paper or aluminum (linked to) and steam as above.)
To reheat to serve, wrap in foil to the skin to protect the place in a saucepan with water, cover and let stand for 1 / 2 hour per pound. (If you used the steam Bowl, bringing it into a pot with water and cook for the same time.) To serve, spoon the skin and cut out. It can also be served battered and fried.

How to cook cabbage

The first time in my marriage that I mounted on a mess of cabbage, my new husband was stunned. "What is that stuff?" he said, clearly upset the appearance and smell of cabbage cooking on the stove.

That's when I knew they were headed still a most important food of the south that had not yet penetrated Yankee Land, or at least parts of it. Again, the respective cultures of this southern girl and her Northern-born men in the collisionkitchen.

That was 20 years ago, and he has come around. Cabbage is an acquired taste though, but I am proud to say that my neighbor is one of the most enthusiastic converts.

Often people eat cabbage in south the way people eat cabbage in the north - that is, very often, usually as a winter-time dish. Cabbage and kale are closely related, but they taste very different.

A tradition that I am in the southmy home is to cook and eat cabbage on New Year, accompanied by black-eyed peas and cornbread. This should ensure wealth in the new year. (Some people, however, replace the cabbage turnip greens, the idea is the same - the Greens have the money and the peas represent coins folding.)

We recommend using only the solid Collard leaves, dark green in color before cooking. Be warned that the leaves are quite tough and require a fair amount of cooking to makeedible.

An interesting note is that cooked kale have a higher nutritional value raw cabbage. This is because cooking breaks down the tough cell walls that would otherwise be released nutrients in cabbage. Cabbages are important nutrients vitamin C, calcium and beta-carotene.

You can cabbage, unwashed, in a ventilated plastic bag in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator. It will be good for up to 6days. The first is cooking and eating, although it will taste less bitter.

A common way to cook cabbage with pork shank. Here is a recipe kale along the line:

Ingredients

1 large bunch Swiss chard

1 onion

1 / 2 cup cider vinegar

salt

ground black pepper

2 large ham hocks

1 / 2 cup water

Directions

1. Wash the cabbage and remove alltraces of sand and dirt. Use a knife to cut the leaves from the stems and the stems are very thick, and discard the stems. Otherwise, just cook the stems with the leaves.

2. Chop the onion and saute with a small amount of oil in a large pot. Add pork shank and cook for about 5 minutes.

3. While pork shank cooked, stir the water, a teaspoon of salt and 2 teaspoons black pepper together in a bowl or measuring cup. Pour the mixture into the pan.

4. AddCollard greens a handful at a time, stirring well each time.

5. After all the cabbages were added to the pot, stir until the greens look wilted. Then turn the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and cook for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

6. Remove from heat and serve.

Tip: The stock left in the pot of cabbage hot pot liquor or pot will play in the South, and is very nutritious. Do not waste it! Add to other dishes, or simplysop with cornbread. Delicious!

How to lobby Care

1 tablespoon dry sherry or rice wine
2 teaspoons red wine vinegar or rice vinegar
1 teaspoon white sugar

How:

Wash and dry the chicken on paper towels. Discard all the fat. Cut the meat into strips and cut the strips into a single cubes. Healthy chicken parmesan recipe calories

My family is always very high on the Italian and Mexican cuisine, and the kinds of dishes are traditionally very, very high in both carbohydrate and fat. Ingredients needed:

1 / 3 Vidalia> Onion
10 of the child or a large carrot grated
1 / 2 large green bell pepper

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 boneless chicken breasts
2 large tomatoes or 6 Roma tomatoes
1 pound organic wheat (I used thin spaghetti)
1 / 4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Italian Lentil Soup Recipe For Warming Winter Meals

garlic, tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, herbs and wine. Cover
plate.

Cook on low 6 to 8 hours or high 3 to 4 hours. Serve
