Simple recipes that taste leaflet Like Mom Used To Make

This heterogeneous group of supplements containing all the favorites that my mother, when we had some guests for dinner. Corn Casserole

Preparation time: 5 minutes Cook: 1 hour

1 canCream-Corn

Drain 1 can of white corn - and save liquid

1 stick melted butter or margarine

1 small container sour cream

1 box Jiffy corn bread mix

In saucepan mix 1 ½ liters plus half of the reserved liquid from white corn

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour

Macaroni and cheese homemade

Preparation time: 5 minutes Cook: 1 hour

2 cups pre-shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Milk plus 1 ½ ptCup

2 cups, even macaroni noodles

3 T. melted butter or margarine

½ t. Sale

¼ t. Pepper

Pour in 1 ½ liter saucepan all ingredients. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour. For a meal in a bowl, add smoky link at the top for the last 15 minutes. Kids love this one.

Broccoli, cheese and rice casserole

Preparation time: 10 minutes Cook: 30 minutes

1 box of long grain rice, wild rice, Rice-a-Roni, prepared byInstructions

1 small box of frozen broccoli cooked and finely chopped

1 can chicken broth (or cream of mushroom, cream and celery. Cream of anything really!)

1 cup pre-shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Pour in 1 ½ liter saucepan all ingredients. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Sweet Potato Casserole.

Preparation time: 20 minutes Cook time: 30 to 40 minutes

A: 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes, 1 cup brown sugar, 2Eggs, lightly beaten 1 t. Vanilla, ½ cup milk, ½ cup melted butter

B: 3 / 4 cup chopped pecans, butter, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 / 4 cup flour, 1 / 3 cup melted

Combine A. Pour into a butter to 1 1 / 2 liter saucepan. Mix B together and sprinkle the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, until hot and browned.

Beans a la Kristen (I thank my friend)

Preparation time: 10 minutes Cook: 1 hour

1 large (possible s 40 ounces) pork 'Beans

1 largecan (30 ounces) beans

1 package Lipton onion soup mix

½ cup ketchup

½ cup brown sugar

2 t. Mustard

In 1 ½ liter casserole Mix all ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
Great fried also: In 1 pound ground beef, so to do.

Mashed potatoes

Preparation time: 20 minutes Cook: 30 minutes

5 pounds potatoes, cooked cooked

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese (Neufchatel use- Reduced Fat)

1 small container French onion dip

Salt and pepper to taste

Peel the potatoes (optional - especially if you are using), the red potatoes. Cut the potatoes cut into cubes. Cover with water and cook for about 30 minutes. Drain water and mashed potatoes. The remaining ingredients.
